This document sets out the simple rules that govern the use of the Tadhkir Maps app. By installing or using the app, you accept these terms. If you do not agree, it is enough not to use the app or to uninstall it.
1. Publisher
The Tadhkir Maps app is published by Sabab Group, based in Belgium. Contact: contact@mysabab.com.
2. Licence to use
Tadhkir Maps is made available to you free of charge, for personal, non-commercial use, on compatible mobile devices. You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use. The app's source code and content remain the property of their respective authors.
3. No account, no payment
The app requires neither sign-up, nor subscription, nor in-app purchase. No payment will ever be requested through the app.
4. Religious content
The app ships a library of du'as drawn from the classical Muslim tradition, notably Hisn al-Muslim. This content is provided for spiritual and educational purposes. We take particular care with the authenticity of the texts and their translations, but we do not claim to replace qualified religious teaching. If in doubt about any practice, refer to a competent religious authority.
5. Responsible use of location features
Location-based reminders are triggered by the operating system's geofencing functions. Their reliability depends on GPS / Wi-Fi signal quality, battery state, and system settings. Do not rely solely on Tadhkir Maps for critical uses (medication intake, driving safety, etc.). The app is a memory assistant, not a medical device, not a driving aid, not a safety system.
6. "As is" provision
The app is provided as is, without express or implied warranty of fitness for a particular purpose, continuous availability, or absence of errors. Within the limits permitted by applicable law, the publisher cannot be held liable for direct or indirect damages resulting from the use or inability to use the app. This does not affect your mandatory consumer rights.
7. Privacy
Tadhkir Maps collects no personal data. For details, see our privacy policy.
8. Expected conduct
You undertake not to use the app for purposes contrary to the law, nor in a way that would harm the rights of others. Because the app is fully local and serverless, you remain solely responsible for any content you create (place names, personal text).
9. Changes and availability
We may evolve the app, add or remove features, or discontinue its distribution. Versions already installed on your device will in principle continue to work, but will no longer receive updates.
10. Intellectual property
The "Tadhkir Maps" mark, the logo, the design and the software architecture are the property of Sabab Group or its licensors. Embedded religious texts belong to classical heritage and are not owned by anyone; their translations remain the property of their respective authors.
11. Applicable law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Belgian law. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably will be brought before the competent courts of Brussels, without prejudice to the mandatory provisions applicable to consumers in their country of residence.
